Dan Lathrop is President of Lathrop Insurance and has been working in Insurance and for 13 years. Dan spent 5 years with Sun Life starting as an Employee Benefits Rep before acting as Voluntary Benefits Practice Leader. Dan then moved to Liazon and Willis Towers Watson. There Dan led the carrier partnerships team for the exchange business. In addition to working with insurance carriers, Dan also worked on collaborations with other insurance brokers to distribute the products.
In 2017, Dan joined his father, and has grown the business through innovative solutions for clients. Dan’s passion is to find elegant solutions to complex opportunities through a data-driven approach. In the past 5 years, Dan’s passion has been to develop solutions for the most challenging types of insurance coverages impacting businesses and individuals. Examples include Flood Insurance, Coastal Property Insurance, Investor Real Estate, Professional Liability, and Cyber Insurance.
